About the Author

Lisa Burton is a wife, a mother of four (three princesses and a prince), and a children’s book author. Being a mom has taught her many things about her four children, especially her prince, as he is the only boy as well as the last child. This book was inspired by her son, Elon, who enjoys reading and loves to eat watermelons. Interestingly, “Elon” rhymes with “melon.” Lisa hopes readers will laugh and be entertained as they immerse themselves in this short, sweet story. She can be found on Facebook as Mind Mindamite and on IG as Mindamite; these social media pages offer inspirational and motivational quotes.

ELON THE MELON BOY’ is an EXCELLENT read for kids. It is not only a palatable literature but one that educates children about the importance of eating healthy. I shared this story with my nephew, Nunu and he was so in love with ELON THE MELON BOY. I was not surprised that he loved it so much because he too is a lover of watermelon.”
